Marine Services and Water Assessments
Endemic Environmental Services is a multifaceted consulting firm that strives to support ocean science and conservation while conducting unbiased research to address challenging problems. We strive to establish a nexus between marine resource protection and construction to serve our clients with exceptional service.
Wildlife, Endangered Species, and Regulatory Permitting
Our biologists have the certificates and permits to do surveys and can prepare conservation plans for federal and state-regulated species (e.g., California gnatcatcher, bat roost evaluation, and management, arroyo toad, desert tortoise, western pond turtle, kangaroo rat, least Bell’s vireo, giant garter snake, central valley steelhead).

Land Management and Habitat Restoration/Hydroseeding
We have worked within different ecosystems, including wetlands, creeks/waterways, and coastal sage scrub. We can undertake hydroseeding of swales and swaths of land to support habitat restoration.

Our eleven-year project for Costa Mesa's Fairview Park, encompassing 208 acres, has included tasks for the protection of 28 sensitive species, mitigation of 40 acres of wildlife and riparian areas, and vector control.
We implemented the hydroseeding for two acres of the Park to restore sensitive habitats and support vegetation growth.
We have supported the management of 50,000 acres of sensitive, open space at the City of Irvine's Great Park through conservation easements/endowments and reserve space by removal of invasive vegetation.
For the Irvine Ranch Water District, we have performed the restoration and maintenance of their territory, which includes the San Joaquin Marsh and 30 additional site locations.
Environmental Documentation and Compliance
We are experienced in meeting the requirements of both state and federal procedures pertaining to CEQA and NEPA documents for public and private projects. We will complete all technical reports (e.g., air quality, noise, traffic, cultural, community, and housing impacts) required for clearance and approval.
We will provide inter-agency coordination and assistance to obtain the required resource agency permits and to help acquire and maintain funding and reimbursements from regional, county, state, and federal agencies.
Drone/Aerial Services
Endemic Environmental Services understands nature is always adapting, and consequently, so will the needs of our clients. We created a drone division in order to meet those needs and undertake the following tasks:

Water Resources and Erosion Control
Stormwater (or polluted runoff) is rain or melting snow that flows over the ground. In urban or developed areas, stormwater runs over pavement and parking lots, picking up oil and other pollutants before flowing into a nearby river or stream. In more natural areas, including forests and wetlands, stormwater can soak into the ground or be stored and filtered. Impervious surfaces such as roads, parking lots, and roofs associated with urban development change natural river flow patterns and the recharge of underground water supplies. They also increase the amount and speed of water entering rivers and other water bodies. The result is an increase in the severity and frequency of floods, the displacement and destruction of habitat for fish and other water-dependent species, and a decrease in base flows in our streams and water in our aquifers.
Our certifications include Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD), Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP), Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI), and Certified Inspector Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC). We have teamed with contractors for roads/highways/bridges to improve stormwater management on their properties with our experience in developing stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPS), conducting inspections, and helping clients comply with federal, state, and local stormwater regulations.
